If u still can connect to other sites, it's probably just error of
your network (sometimes I can't get in some sites). Just wait a few
days and it'll be fixed
Well, if u can't get into the homepage, obviously u can't get in any
search of google about it (except it's a google's cache), no matter
which browser u use

But it can be a virus, so be careful, check if there's any thing
strange happens, or any strange processes in Task Manager

Even if u don't use proxy, virus may change. Check this: Launch
Firefox - Tools - Options - Advanced - Network - In "Connection" tab -
> Settings and u'll see if u are using proxy or not
