If u still can connect to other sites, it's probably just error of your network (sometimes I can't get in some sites). Just wait a few days and it'll be fixed Well, if u can't get into the homepage, obviously u can't get in any search of google about it (except it's a google's cache), no matter which browser u use
But it can be a virus, so be careful, check if there's any thing strange happens, or any strange processes in Task Manager Even if u don't use proxy, virus may change. Check this: Launch Firefox - Tools - Options - Advanced - Network - In "Connection" tab - > Settings and u'll see if u are using proxy or not Ah, everyone annoys when they can't get into their favorite webpages :) On Jan 12, 10:58 am, AngelicTears <[email protected]> wrote: > hmm, and it is also worth trying to call ur ISP for the mentioned problem, > but try what bro THEfog mentioned above..also try and check ur network > activities, i think u can check it via task manager, or u can check ur > firewall if u have any for the list of programs that is using ur network > interface..if u found some abnormalities with in the programs list, X-Setup > Pro is a powerful tool, let u disable any startup programs..also msconfig > can be also use to search for a "bad" program and services at startup... > > On Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 11:01 AM, THEfog . <[email protected]> wrote: > > If you have a suspicion that you have a virus you should download these two > > programs > > > 1.ESET Nod32 antivirus trial (Brilliant program, worth buying, I did) > > > 2.
