Well mac can work on MBR given the copy you have is modified to work
with MBR. A retail copy of SL won't work though unless you modify a
package.

And the DSDT.aml thing, it will work on any copy of Mac as long as you
have Chameleon or PC EFI installed. Those r bootloaders btw.
