Doing anything with your BIOS is a risk because it controls the startup of
your system, an error at this level would be devastating to a perfectly
operational system. All that aside though because it is at such alow level,
any changes made here would more than likely be of substantial benefit to
the end user who modified their BIOS for things such as hardware overclock,
voltage, latency tweakers, DMT restriction removal and much more.
Unfortuantly, because every computer is different in some way it would be a
very bad idea to distribute your modded BIOS for others to install as it
would more than likely put them half-way up shit creek without a paddle. And
I believe MAD_BEAST is in possesion of such a tool.

hmm, if it is possible, it is a tad bit dangerous as well.

I bricked my system by flashing a IEGD vbios to my system bios. I
didn't 100% brick it though, I just couldn't see anything.

I fixed it by booting into ubuntu (thank god it has that 1 feature to
work with a messed up vbios) and making a crysis recovery disc.

If you have a crysis recovery disc, or a dual-bios motherboard, you
should be good enough to take the risks.

Another thing I found out is that u know in the XP 945 stock drivers
how it comes with a vbios? I flashed that, and it worked, however, my
max resolution was only 1024x768 and thus, my bios, windows, games,
and all, it was displayed as a box on my screen (it didnt take up the
whole screen).
