I have switched my Core Duo 1,6 for C2D 2,2 about 2 Months ago. I
didn't do any extensive testing (heck - i'm on standard vista drivers
now) - real life stuff - and upped RAM from 1 GB to 4 GB (i know, i
know - i'm on x32 so its only 3,5) but the end point is - NO
significant performance boost.

By C2D cost a bit more than $15... Grrrrrr....

And I was sure it fits in my motherboard...
