That is awesome to know about the socket interface.  Thanks for the
correction.  I have always stayed away from Laptops thinking that has
not changed, but I guess it had.  If this is the case, and there is a
good chance a new CPU would be released, this M11X is becoming more of
a no brainer by the day.

Also, with the DDR3, I remembering reading last year that there is no
real performance difference with DDR3 ram.  You just get the one that
is compatible with your front side bus, and your good to roll.  Since
I don't see any extreme overclocks on this, I think a 800 is fine all
together.  Of course, my info could also be out of date, such as the
changed CPU.  But this was right before I put my i7 rig together.  So
I think I still correct on this.

I think for my commutes the M11X is perfect.  Now how to explain the
purchase to my wife.  I also need to sell my eee901.
