yeah well, tell me about it.... most of the time i tested the dedicated cards in cyber cafes here...
some of the most common cards i tested in most cyber cafes in my cities are (all in XP 32bit, with most using AMD Athlon X2) : - 9500 GT (ok on most games , med - high) - GT220 (not a high end cards but most games played very well) - 9600 GSO 512 (med end cards but ok for most games, suffers a little to badly while playing borderlands at very high) - ATI 4650 (med class 4 series Radeon HD, ok for most games on high, crysis on med with a constant FPS) On Sat, Apr 24, 2010 at 1:41 PM, gma3100 <[email protected]> wrote: > for me i have never experienced the power of dedicated graphics (with > the exception of a geforce 6600 at my friends house) > so sad.... > luckily mad beast is here otherwise we would spend another 100 dollars > just to play sims 3.... > > On Apr 24, 3:21 am, AngelicTears <[email protected]> wrote: > > lol, 295GTX is awesome....im not a pure fanboy btw, but for my kind of > > budget, ATI cards is the way to go, poor me.... > > and yeah, 295GTX is an extreme GPU IMO....but also are the ATI HD > 59xx...all > > it comes to users choices and likings.... > > for my budget, i prefer either 9600 GT, HD 4650, or GT220....with a combo > of > > AMD Athlon II x2 or Phenom II X3..that's my budget planing that is... > > > > although i want to point out something, recently i saw on > notebookcheck.com, > > that intel HD graphics score 3102 in 3D Mark 2005...somewhat im suprise > with > > that as i3 platform does perform well for basic gaming needs...but still, > > it's integrated... > > > > On Sat, Apr 24, 2010 at 3:13 AM, Espionage724 <[email protected] > >wrote: > > > > > > > > > I believe nvidia uses their own chipset instead of using an Intel > > > chipset, but if nvidia relied on Intel's chipset, then thats mad fail > > > beyond reason lol. > > > > > But I think nvidia uses nforce or something as their chipset? idk. > > > Someone with nvidia hardware go check device manager for SMBus and see > > > if drivers are installed. > > > > > On Fri, Apr 23, 2010 at 10:15 AM, THEfog . <[email protected]> > > > wrote: > > > > Oh trust me, I'm not saying that intels GPU solutions are good, quite > the > > > > opposite infact.
