i second Espi...
and memory usage would be the same, this happened woth both vista and 7 ,
while 7 consume a little less memory than vista...
although u ran an application in compitability mode, the OS it self renders
the application and using a lot of DLLs for it making the OS AND application
using more memory than newer NT technology (vista and 7)...plus all the
application will use more of ur hard drive space as vista and 7 stores
multiple versions of the application EXEs and DLLs in WinSxS folder, for
every compitability mode ure using (XP sp2, sp3, 98 and etc)
