Well, I gotta say your specs look nice, and the weak link (aside from the hdd which we common mortals haven't got the cash to go to ssds) seems to be just the cpu. You do know that even though windows 7 comes with all the required chipset drivers, that you should install the latest intel chipset drivers as well as intel rst 9.6 (latest version since I checked), as it might not put the computer faster, but it helps by reducing the bottlenecks, right? And now more than ever, intel cpus should be paired with nvidias, as well as amds with atis, you know because of the whole amd buys ati. And how clean is your windows install? Because if you're really feeling it not as responsive as it should be, it usually is because of the windows install or your board might have to be checked.
