I'm looking at the INF at the moment, and some files make me pay some
attention on them.

these files:
- igcompkrng500.bin
- igfcg500.bin
- igfcg500m.bin
- igkrng400.bin
- igkrng500.bin

1. what do they do?

2. why both MD and original driver only use the igkrng400.bin?
what's the use of those *500.bin then?

3. I see that in series 4 driver, they use igcompkrng500.bin,
igfcg500m.bin, and igkrng500.bin
   and also igcompkrng575.bin, igfcg575m.bin, and igkrng575.bin (the
last 3 are Series 4 specific files)
however, it's funny that they have igkrng400.bin file, but it's not
used

4. it's also funny that there's igfcg500.bin in MD/original, but it's
not used

5. is it just my impression, or Intel somehow like to copy paste
driver files from one driver to another newer driver, and doesn't
really care to delete the unused, making them some junk files that
result the installer being bigger than it should?
I realize that the igkrng400.bin and *500.bin from 945 have
different size with the same files from Series 4 (so I guess Series 4
igkrng400.bin must be from somewhere, not from 945, although like I
said before, it's not used on Series 4)

5. I was doing some experiments, trying to "steal" *575.bin from
Series 4, and apply them on 945. success, but not noticing any change
at all

so... back to the main question... what do they do actually? @_@
