hi. my friend and i are trying to "convert" the latest x4500 8.15.10.2182 for x3100. this july 2010 driver actually unlocked compatibility with mass effect 2 and grid in x4500! apparently, we had a problem. my friend tried and he managed to made it compatible (he did managed the diskID, intel.mfg, and so on) and apparently, he only can run pixel shader 2 games and he said he had 10 fps boost! but pixel shader 3 games gave an error, and we ought to find out why. meanwhile, he even tried to make the latest CUI (used in recent x4500m/ mhd drivers) compatible with x3100 but im just wondering whether its possible or not? he suspected that something in the sys "hated" the x3100. he didnt mention what sys is it, but he wants to know who in 9xx can modify the sys properly....so thats why i posted this post.
he was amazed to know that the 9xx gma 950 driver uses x4500 drivers - so he's amazed by your work. so help please? regards Benz93 -- 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
