Either plug an external monitor with higher max resolution, or you
have to switch your laptop screen for a higher resolution model. The
gma 950 is capable of somewhat fluid 1680x1050 on an internal lcd
screen.
But lcd's native resolution is equal to the max resolution, while
crt's could go beyond their specified max resolution at cost of device
life expectancy.
