Summary: not a chance in the world if you have a LCD. CRT, sure but it won't
last as long.

iphone 4 for example...has newer display and contains almost twice the pixel
resolution that the older display with the same diagonal length...

now i wonder when will IPS screens will go mainstream, heard that it's
lifespan is quite less than mainstream LCD...
