yeah, tribaljet have a point there, while it's a common fix to mix releases, it is better to use release for the same ripper like tribaljet said... but as last result mixing the release often done the job..in my experience that is...
also in my experience in ripping / cracking games scene, most rippers have work with each other so the bug fix is solved... im not saying that tribaljet is wrong, he is 100% right...but in the ripping scene, working together and experiment the release is part of the cracking scene who ever the ripper are..ive once used to making cracks and stuffs, but i quit...it's like stealing but hey, i cant afford original games ^^ owh and one more thing, i usually prefer game iso contents rather than repacked version.. why? iso is a full original copy with added crack folder to apply manually, so u can asure nothing is altered.. if ure on a tight data plan, or simply u cant wait to download a full iso commonly caused by slow connections i would prefer Ripped version... again Why? because Ripped version also usually have the original vital content such as Dlls and other stuff, juz it have been extract from an iso and compress heavily, with that if anything fails, i can alter other files knowing that the content is still original, juz the cracked that have been applied... repacked versions in other hand often have almost all the vital files modded to suit the game cracked, or even to compress it even further by removing vital files sometime... so yeah, that's based on my experience.. iso is the way to go Ripped is ok but beware of file redundancy failure Repack is good also but as a last choice On Fri, Aug 20, 2010 at 11:13 PM, THEfog . <[email protected]> wrote: > Haha good point, I've heard that before as well because one crackers > updates fix another crackers mistakes.
