But since they opened the beta, even before the final version (which btw still says beta on their site :S) that there was a HUGE increase in lag, that still hasn't been fixed until now. A racing game is very sensitive to the slightest lag, so it was kind of a bold bet from EA on doing that. But honestly, after having played quite a bit of nfs world, I would prefer 1000x that they did a burnout online, EA bought Criterion so it wouldn't be any problem at all.
