well, for starters, GMA booster have no proven result that it works, and of
course, if u already have 400MHz, then it's no use...

as for what said by rajan .m

i do recommend Windows 7 if u have enough RAM, 1gb or above that is..most of
our members here already switching to win7 and see tremendous result over
gaming...mostly for the driver support..but again, XP is not bad either,
some old games do run better on XP than on 7 or vista, also recommended dual
booting both if HDD size permits it..
