There's windows and there's linux. Closed as it is, windows still makes EVERYTHING work while OSX (while good on its own) is more and more like iOS. Grab whatever hardware you want, put it together and install one of those two always working OSes :) On a non related note, DIE ACER DIE. One of the brands to avoid. HARD.
