well man as im a 4th year computer engineering student ,,, if u dont hav a backround in programming it will take u sometime to get on the road of programming but that doesnt mean u shouldnt , but if u hav patients then go for it , otherwise it will drive u crazy like its driving me nuts , here in Jordan , part of the computer engineering degree programming is a MUST , but i dont like it :) , i regret , and i wish i went for computer networking , still my luck didnt end im interested in hardware stuff like IC design ( integrated chip ) and alot more ahead of me , but i hav to spend sometime to get some experience on Linux , networking and hacking stuff to get my carrier straight ... and for CS , its an amazing course , and u will be amazed that next gen computing depends alot on programming , esp with android and iphone going on ...
