Most laptops have a limited failsafe BIOS, to prevent morons like me blowing it up. xD
But you should be getting a settings menu during start up, some small text popping up telling you what to do to get into the menu. got an Acer, it's F2 to get in it. might be different on yours, just wack some keys during start up.
