Imo, Crysis 2 in its current state, is pretty, meh (hackers in almost every multiplayer match, people with legit cd-keys unable to play online, single player stuff not transferring right over to multiplayer, pirates [were] able to play online, no advanced graphics options or DX11, some console-related option still exists, etc)
Crysis 2 might be able to play on more computers (even though imo Crysis 1 played better for my HD3200 then Crysis 2), but this also is coming from a mostly console-ported game (as most would say). I think I even saw someone on Crytek forums saying a $2K computer couldn't get a perfect 60FPS, and then theres people complaining of flickering issues on Crossfire/SLI, etc. But don't get me wrong, Crysis 2 seems like it would be an awesome game, maybe add the abilities for more lower-end machines to play it (10FPS at 800x600 with forced AA and motion blur does not make a good experience), get a better anti-cheat system to stop hackers, and this game might be worth playing imo :p On Wed, Apr 13, 2011 at 4:08 PM, Jose Villegas (MADBEAST) < [email protected]> wrote: > NO KIDDING! wow wow wow im amazed.. why dont you introduce me Charlize > Theron? > > Im sorry im a noob, i dont know shit of what has been done here... im > new on computers and never made a modded driver, actually i dont even > have a computer. > > In fact this chipset DOSENT SUPPORT shader model 2.0, no vertex shader > supported, ergo NO SM2.0 is supported, then Crysis 1 dosent run on SM2 > on this chipset. > > > > -- > 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS > -- 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
