You're lucky to have a multimedia series HP, those are significantly
easier to disassemble, compared to my HP 530, which is like a puzzle,
and to get access to the fan, I have to tear apart the whole thing :'(
Anyway, that's definitely one game I'll have to keep for posterity :)
Curiously, I haven't heard that many good things about the Vidock, but
I've heard they've developed a new model.
So, what are the specs of that laptop? Because you know that cpu only
goes so far when it comes to gaming. T9300 doesn't overheat that much,
quite significant power management improvements over previous
generations, and if you really want to play it safe, get a Zalman
(NC1000/NC1500, I think) cooling pad, or a Nox Boreas (I think), those
are "hardcore" cooling pads, which paired with clean vents and
conscious undervolting, makes for a quite cool running machine.
