Sounds great. I'm using an HP 6710b (If anyone has read my previous posts:
I'm sorry for the confusion).

I have just upgraded mine from a T7300 to a T9300 myself. It works pretty
well, and your machine is one build number higher than mine. So definitely
no problem there!

As for the thermal paste question: You can definitely use that, HECK I think
its better than what I used! I just used an ordinary silver paste on mine
and I've been pushing it with games with no problem.
