I just tried again NFS Most Wanted, and IGRM is absolutely essential for the game to be playable. By default, visual treatment is set to high, but through that wonderful tool that Angelic linked (thanks man!), you can disable motion blur and set visual treatment to low and still have the visual effects of high setting with the performance of the low setting. Right now I'm running it at 1024x768 and all settings to the minimum, and it's quite playable, as in ~30fps.
