Yeah was lucky they both have the same socket m cant wait to get the
c2d in. definately hearing you about the win 7 32 bit... but
unfortuneately for me its not so much of a choice to change. 64 bit
was all I had but I will try to get my hands on a copy...

**turns out Im sure putting avalon on has fixed max payne 2 and killed
quake 3... either that or IDAMT because thats all Ive installed...
tried changing quake 3 from software to hardware and back with no luck
just shows a white screen and turns the brightness right up, doesnt
effect any other games though or any other opengl games which seems
strange. Ill give IGRM a crack right now, thanks for the heads up.
