I successfully compiled Qt3D with Qt5 using VS2010 and VS2012, but could not
get the samples to run, because I used a Qt5 version with ANGLE. Currently it
looks like it is not possible to compile Qt3D with ANGLE, although it should
not be overly complicated. I did not have enough time to play around with Qt3D
und ANGLE, but hope that the final Qt3D/Qt5 version will also support
compilation with ANGLE, which is absolutely necessary for me because I have to
support an application which should run on a wide range of Windows computers
including those with Intel on-Chip graphics processors which seem to be famous
for their lack of correctly implemented OpenGL drivers.

Betreff: [Interest] qt3D and qt5 status

Hi,

I wants to port an existing apps from Qt4 to Qt5. I suppose that all is easily
portable, but I use qt3D c++ scenegraph to render my opengl stuff. It seems
that qt3D is not included in qt5 trunk, but has anybody tryed to compile qt3D
C++ with qt5 ? Does it works for basic feature ?
