Hello Isabel,
Try http://lrc.csis.ul.ie/ this is the site for the Localisation Research
Centre.

"The Localisation Research Centre (LRC) has been established at the
University of Limerick in April 1998 and is the result of a merger
between the Centre for Language Engineering and the Localisation
Resources Centre. This Website has recently been moved from
University College Dublin to the University of Limerick. We are
currently testing and adapting the site in its new environment."
This site lists their members and their email addresses.
Maybe they can help you.

This is also a good page with information on software localization:
http://directory.hotbot.com/Computers/Software/Globalization/Localization/

Good luck.

Does anybody know where can I find World Experts in Software
Localization? Names, Personalities or Universities where they
research about this matter? I have to start preparing my Ph.D. thesis
on that and can't find the right academic directions. Could it be in
Ireland? I know thousands of agencies and companies that work on
that, but I lack all kinds of info about academic lines or professors
expert on the issue. There is really nothing here in Spain. Regards to
you all and thanks for your replies, if you can make it,
