Hi,
I just did a translation for reloaders (shell reloaders for riffles and
pistols), and adjustments, etc... were all in US measures. There, I saw such
measurements as 1/16" ["Adjust the swage body die 1/16" above the
shellplate], and also: "When your swager is properly adjusted you will feel
resistance during the final 1/2" to 1" of the downward stroke of the handle",
or things like "The casefeed plate should now be approximately 1/8" above the
floor of the casefeed bowl".

This message is for the english speaking people in particular the
Americans as I think they tend to use the imperial units more than us
English now. I have a client (French) who wants me to convert all
metres, cm, mm etc into English. The trouble is when I get to things
like 60mm which works out to about 2 inches and a third. Its a technical
document so the values are fairly important. Can you say 2 1/3 inches in
a technical doc or would it be better leaving the small values in
metric??
Any opinions would be valuable >>
