Hello,
Intermapper is an excellent
product and I am readying maps for use with v4 for use in production. One
thing that is holding us back is the amount of information that intermapper
gives away to any user who authenticates. Agreed, all the information is
excellent for networks and systems analysts, but I would like to limit the
amount of information seen by the public. For our case, a simple map
snapshot without links would suffice. Suggestions?
Also, as a request, I would like to see
a derivative of the MAP STATUS plugin, called DEVICE STATUS. If i have the
same device on multiple maps (in our case our routers that link our
infrastructure to our server racks, and the intermapper machine) it doesn't need
to be checked periodically by multiple maps.
