Folks, I'm also playing with sub-maps. It's a great feature, especially for monitoring larger networks.
I can echo Matt's items and raise him one. It would be nice if a map could be hidden on the server where it runs. Not minimized; we'll have over 100 maps, and that would fill up the OS X dock with minimized icons. I would like to be able to hide a map in the same sense that I can hide a running application under OS X. The map would still be running but would not appear at all on the screen. I could make it reappear by double clicking on a map-status icon on another map that refers to it, or by selecting it on the Window pulldown menu. And speaking of the Window pulldown, how about some kind of hierarchy scheme on that pulldown? Maybe if a map contains map-status boxes, then in the Window pulldown it has a ">" that leads to the maps whose status it monitors. Something like that. Again, I may have 100 maps running. The current pulldown doesn't scale to that size.
