Another nice feature to have would be...
If you
could associate the Router Ethernet port, to the Catalyst Switch
port.
Your right. The CatOS (Hybrid mode 65xx, 55xx,
modular Cats...) doesn't translate to mod/port. I've tried all the
combinations to get it to report properly. I'm guessing it's more of a MIB
defined issue, then a IM. The 2950s, 3550s, 35xx/29xxXL Cats are IOS (router)
based and do report properly. My work around is to do a "show port ifindex"
and then change the label manually. It is a pain and time consuming, but I've
found no other way.

Ahh, that has been there for a long time.
Label options:
Port Number: 2 (ifIndex is I'm right..)
Port Name: Fastethernet0/2 (Module and port)
Interface Alias: <The name assigned to 'Description'> (at least on
Cisco)
And there is other...
