When you close a map document, InterMapper on OSX saves the current window position at the end of the map file. InterMapper will always update this information, even if you elect not to save any other modifications. Hence, you should always notice that the modification dates are updated when quitting InterMapper.
This behaviour only affects InterMapper Traditional on OSX; it does not affect the other platforms (or InterMapper Server on OSX).

Has anyone seen this happening on OSX ? After quitting InterMapper, all the modification dates of the map files that were open are set to the InterMapper quit time. This applies to maps that were not modified, and to maps that were modified, but for which InterMapper was told to not rewrite them on disk at quit time.
InterMapper 4.1.2 beta 5 on OSX 10.2.
