There were places in InterMapper's Mac OS code base where it filled in FSSpec structure's manually. Due to changes made in Panther, this type of code no longer works under all circumstances in Mac OS X 10.3. The manifestation of this bug is a -43 error when saving a file. Typically, this only happens after InterMapper has been running continuously for 2 or 3 days.
This bug is fixed in version 4.1.3b3. The final version of 4.1.3 is done and due to be posted real soon.

Hello-
I'm getting this error on InterMapper 4.1.2 on Mac OS X 10.3.2:
"Couldn't complete the last command because of a Mac OS Error. Error =
-43" This happens when I try to save any map file after making changes.
Apple's support site says error # -43 has to do with permissions or file
name errors. The second condition holds true only if files are being
shared via SMB to Windows. I've checked permissions on some files in
question and they are fine: owner and group have read & write for the
account running InterMapper. The file names I am using are
alphanumeric, with the exception of characters from the following set:
(, ), +, -. (Commas & periods excepted).
Any suggestions on where to proceed?
Thanks, Mark
