How does Intermapper select the default IP to use for the telnet and web server on a multi-homed server? And can it be changed?
I am using Version 4.2.4 (Build 52073, i386/Windows/32-bit).
For the web server or telnet server on Windows, the OS (WinSock) is choosing the local interface to use. I'm not 100% sure of the algorithm, but I expect it's something like the first interface it comes to that's appropriate for its needs.
I don't offhand how one might influence its decision.
