Text on charts with the IMRemote version is very large and sometimes blurry compared to the Traditional version. This is one reason why I have not found myself wanting to use IMRemote or Console.

I assume that you are talking about Remote/Console on OS X. Apple's JVM anti-aliases text by default, and has large default font sizes (pt size 12, I believe). You can turn off anti-aliasing in the Graphics Settings window accessed from the Misc menu of the Debug window (open the Debug window by pressing Cmd-Alt-Shift-Z). If you tell us specifically which text is too large, we can see about reducing the size when running on OS X.

Hi Tex

I've spoken with Rich about this in the past few weeks. Rich told me about the trick for turning off anti-aliasing which fixes the fuzziness of small fonts when using IMRemote on Mac OS X. I think you should make this setting the default for Mac OS X.

The other unresolved problem is that all text on charts on IMRemote on Mac OS X is much larger than the text on the same charts on Traditional. This causes charts that have lots of lines to be much larger than they need to be, which looks ugly and wastes valuable screen space. Rich has examples of the same charts on IMRemote on Mac OS X and on Traditional on Mac OS X. The IMRemote charts are a full inch bigger than the Mac OS X ones. If you need me to send examples again I will.

Thanks
Dennis
