Jason,

Yes, the device will be polled multiple times according to the poll interval
set for each map it exists on, or the device's poll interval if one has been
set. We've had several requests for changes in this area, so I will add your
name to the list of requestors, if you like.

I'm curious to know whether IM will poll a device multiple times if the
device is on multiple maps or if IM is smart enough to poll once and use the
results for all the maps.

For example, I have some core devices which I list on a WAN map and then
list them again on campus maps for the campus they are the gateway for.
