The loss is not significant as it only appears for seconds and then is gone.
InterMapper has reported packet loss for a long time, but it did not
cause alarms/warnings/etc. for packet loss in older versions; this
feature was added in 4.5. So previously, while it would have reported
the number in the status window, it would have been up to you to
notice that it was high.
This is why you only get alarms, etc., with the new version.
