Loopback interfaces are often configured with /32 addresses. We have dozens of
them, all for good reasons, or so we think. I've never seen InterMapper
complaining about them, so please don't fix what's not broken 8-).
Yes, /32 loopbacks are your friend. From a routing/monitoring
perspective, it is a much more reliable indicator of the device itself
being up (reachable via any interface) when you have more than
hub-and-spoke routing in place. From a reporting perspective (logging
source-interface, snmp traps, etc) it provides a consistent identity for
routers.
