Thanks for the comments. It's true that we abandoned the old Custom Probe
Builder program: despite the GUI, it wasn't very easy to use. It also got left
behind with the changes - and significant enhancements - that we were adding to
the custom probe facilities.

In the upcoming InterMapper 4.6, we are making a significant step toward this.
It's not drag and drop, but we have made it much easier to enter the OID (or the
name) of a MIB variable into a probe and monitor it or set thresholds on it.

We are getting close to a beta-test release which will be available to the
world. Please send a note to [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you'd like to get started
with the alpha-test right away.
