There is no hourly option; the timescale options are daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. If you specify a number, then that number is interpreted as the number of minutes between tick marks, but the tick marks are spaced with fixed horizontal spacing. Replace hourly with timescale=2 or timescale=5.
