We have 3 IM servers on our network management net. All on the same

PC where I use my IM remote, is on the same switch with a IM server we
are using for testing.
This machine has a cname "intmap01c" and it's regular DNS name is
net-sun.

I added the server "intmap01c" to the IM remote list of servers, and
that works, but "net-sun" keeps appearing on the list, and I don't want
it there.
Login to your IM server and open its server settings. You can change the server
name in:
Server Information -> Properties
The canonical DNS name appears when the server name is empty.
It would be nice if we could turn off the remotes auto-discover of
servers on it's lan.
To do this, change the IM Server's port number in "Remote Server" to a port
number other than 8181.
