Has anyone out there had an issue with Alcatel 6148 switches reporting intermittent outages - actually flashing red. Every single one of our 6148's report this issue and there does not appear to be any rhyme or reason to the timings, nor are they all at the same time. We have been working with Alcatel off and on for several months and they are trying to indicate and issue with Intermapper and the SNMP probe. We have some other Alcatel models (6850's) that don't have this problem, nor does the Extreme switches we are installing, only the 6148's. I told Alcatel today that is wasn't an issue with Intermapper as we also run Solar Winds and their performance log also shows the intermittent outage.
Below is a screen shot. Note the up time, even though there are recent outages and the Status Up time states today. Most recent code on the switch was updated almost 8 days ago, at which time the switch was restarted.
