Try getting a full Thread Dump when the slowdown is happening (http://dartware.com/support/docs/web/Content/10-Troubleshooting/Troubleshooting_InterMapper_Remote.htm
).
You can do this (send SIGQUIT or press Ctrl-Break) several times and
send the output to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The more samples you take,
the better. I will take a look at the output and see if I can figure
out what the program is busy doing.
Use the Report a Bug option in the Help menu also. This will include
information about the environment (Java version, OS information, RAM
used, communications with the server, etc.) that will be useful.
Please do this from each machine that is demonstrating the problem -
again, the more samples the better.
To be clear, the performance issue only started occurring when you
upgraded RemoteAccess to 5.0.5? What was the version before? Is the
server also 5.0.5? Was it upgraded at the same time? What Java
version is being used on all of the different client machines?
