Now when I use that setting it can take more than 30 minutes (after that I get busy and get back to it some hours or days later). it's bad enough when it displays the IP instead of the short,smart name and I can't make things look nice and neat, but s today I duplicated a probe and then gave the new one a new IP (actually I did that 6 times). I now have 7 things showing with the same hostname because DNS doesn't resolve. I've got the right campus DNS server in both the intermapper server config and the actual Mac it's running on.
