FYI, the ${devicename} variable works in the <script-output> section of my SNMP
and Command Line probes.

Andrey,

I'm working on documentation of variables available for access from probes.

The ${devicename} variable works in the <script-output> section of a TCP
Probe.

There is a ${_remoteaddress} variable available in the <script> section,
which is where you would likely be passing the host name to the device. That
one would be worth a try - it's possible it will resolve it.

I'm hoping to have a list of available variables in a tech tip in the next
day or so.

Best regards,

Bob Merrill

${devicename} does not seem to work. I just get NOT FOUND when using that.
