Hi, There must be somewhere in the MIB a per switch value of the temperature but I couldn't find it, so instead I poll chassisTempAlarm (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.2.13)
The probe is attached. Please note that this probe actually displays information about the whole stack (members, status, etc...) so it might generate too much traffic if you don't need this information. I remember finding that Cisco doesn't use the same OID on all models (or maybe versions of IOS) for temperature. You might want to do an SNMP WALK to find out what the OID is for temperature on the 3745 and substitute that OID for the one in the probe.
