That sounds really stupid in my mind!

Why are we forcing a technical UNIX path structure over a Label String 
Display?????

There is, as I see it, no reason at all to tell the user that you are at the 
'root' of any given folder level - if there is only a map name, that's it!
If you are at a folder level, you could simply display: FolderName/Mapname.

And while we are at it, make a checkbox to it (or another label type) that 
strips the folders! 
As it is now, we have no way of hiding "Customers/TheStupidOnes/CustOneMapOne" 
- and why should they see the folder structure we organice our maps in anyway?
