Hi Ryan,

Importing a MIB into InterMapper does not create a custom SNMP probe for the 
device. When you import SNMP MIB files, the information is used to enhance the 
formatting of the displayed data. For example, certain views (especially in log 
files and the SNMP Table views) will use the MIB data to display numeric values 
as human-readable strings. 

Importing a MIB facilitates creating a custom SNMP probe by allowing you to use 
symbolic (as opposed to numeric) values in your custom SNMP probe. However, you 
still need to create the probe itself in order to retrieve data from the 
device. 

To start creating custom SNMP probes, you should begin by reading the
