Sure. I've known about this since June, but unfortunately didn't investigate it enough to realize that it is an Apple problem. And now the new version is already in duplication and will be available, shrink-wrapped, in stores this Friday.

Which is why the "complain to Apple" approach doesn't
help with the 10.3 release. But I'll report it nonetheless.

It should be reported but I agree with Marko that PHP should support some work around in the meanwhile. It always takes vendors some time to fix their stuff and we should do what's best for our user base which is create a working version of PHP ASAP.
