Why not delay Zip until 5.3 and make an E_STRICT or E_NOTICE in 5.2 for the Zip classname being a reserved word?
In fact if we could come up with a list of class names php wants to reserve for itself then we could make them all raise notices so that people have time to fix their code. Regards Marco
