Each thread like this reduces my goodwill for PHP dev, because it
turns from a fun thing to do on the weekend to a petty political mess
that no one wants to be involved in.

Yes.  And perhaps because English is a crazy language, I want to point
out, again, that I didn't accept each individual bug, only to never
work on it.
