Skills Required and Job Description:
Interview mode: Telephonic and Skype
- Need an experienced system engineer/developer to be dedicated to the creation, customization, configuration and maintenance of UI and workflows on top of the Service-Now ITSM platform
- Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer solutions leveraging all appropriate components offered by Service-Now to answer the needs for Business workflows, ticketing or other ITSM requirements.
- Integrate Service-Now.com with other systems where applicable
- Drive architectural changes taking into consideration dependencies, relationships and integration points
- Implement efficient, effective solutions that may contain but are not limited to service level reporting,workflow implementation, process automation and integration with multiple systems
- Utilize language skills for new development or by manipulation of existing code (_javascript_, HTML)
- Understand database structures, data warehousing and reporting techniques
- Participate on project teams as a technical resource while having a solid understanding of process management
- Collaborate with IT, business teams and Program Director on solutions
- Assist in testing and implementing vendor releases of the Service-Now platform
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of basic service management concepts
- Development or programming experience
- Experience configuring or administering platform-based tools preferably ServiceNow
- Management tools such as Service-Now.com, HP, Remedy, etc.
- Experience with SQL
- 5 years experience with coding in _javascript_/HTML/XML
- Excellent customer service and collaborative capabilities
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts and principles a plus
